• Your dwelling limit and whether it reflects today's coastal rebuild cost
• Hurricane deductible — flat dollar amount or a percentage of your dwelling limit
• Whether wind is included or excluded from the policy
• Flood coverage, zone, and whether contents are included
• Ordinance or law coverage for current building code upgrades
• Loss of use or fair rental value, especially for rental properties
• Screened enclosure, pool cage, and other structures limits
• Water damage sublimits and any roof surfacing payment schedule
• Personal liability limit and whether an umbrella sits above it
• Named insured accuracy if the property is held in a trust or LLC
